After a video inspection is complete and an the issues at hand are understood, there are several steps you can take. One of which is pipe lining. Pipe lining is a process that is used when the severity of the problem is minor, like simple cracks, breaks, joint displacements and offsets. The process requires the line to be cleaned and video inspected previously for measurements of repair.

 

The technician(s) then uses a variety of repair kits depending on the size and material of the pipe. The repair kit is fed through the line to the exact footage of the issue. The repair then hardens in place over a calculated cure time, leaving a hardened “cast” in the pipe covering the issue leaving you with a new section of pipe.
