Drain cleaning is a process that uses a high volume of water with water pressure to blast through the toughest blockages and debris like grease, toweling, grit, rust, food, rock, sand and more. First, the line is cleared, then the technician runs a jet hose through the line at a slow pace using different jet heads to remove the various types of debris.

 

For example, if the line has a grease or root issue, we use the "cutter" jet head that spins and rips off the debris. If the issue is solid debris, like rock or dirt from a potential break, the technician would then use a "Penetrator" head to push the debris forward. Once the line is cleaned and clear of all debris, the technician can then Video Inspect the line to access how many issues there are and how bad they may be.
